Tiny's Opinion Palace

This is a collection of some of my thoughts on various subjects.  It is not my intention, of course, to hurt nor offend anyone.  I'm simply voicing my opinion which, as an American, I have the right to do.  Isn't freedom beautiful!!

Love

The love I'm about to talk about is real, true, pure, unadulterated, and unconditional love.  If you don't feel it deep in your heart, then you're not in it and much of this may not apply to whatever you're in, but perhaps it will give you something to look forward to.  If you feel this amazing kind of love deep in your heart and with all of your soul, and know what it is from what it is not, then perhaps you'll understand the intense feeling I speak of.  Look inside yourself, if it's not real... is it really worth having?       Love is a strange sort of thing.  It seems that no one can really explain exactly what it feels like, but yet they can tell you whether or not they feel it.  I guess if that is the case, I can at least try to explain what love is to me.  Perhaps it's a little different for everybody, but that is what being human is all about.      Love is so wonderful.  It can lift you above the highest mountain, on wings of gold.  Love is truly amazing.  It's a feeling that you know will last forever.  Love is when two people care so much about each other, and about being together, that they are willing to hold on to their love and work through anything that comes their way (good or bad) side by side.  Love is when you can have fun with someone, laugh with them, and go places and do things together that you both enjoy.  Love is also being able to enjoy someone whether you are out somewhere or just sitting at home, in your underwear, watching movies.  I believe love is mostly about being together, in your hearts and in your minds, even if you are miles away from one another.  Love is about holding on to a great and wonderful feeling and person.  When two people are in love, they don't let go.  Even when one might think that he or she can't go on, the other is there to hold out their hand and say 'Come on, we can do this together.'  True love may hold on loosely, but it will never let you go.      When I say 'I Love You', I mean it.  I feel it totally and unconditionally.  The love I feel doesn't care about the past, it cares about the person I love.  When I feel loved, I can fly, higher that any cloud that could possibly come along.  The love I share is my gift and an important part of my life.  Love is something to be treasured and cared for.  If you love someone, truly love someone, then you know this wonderful feeling already.  If the person you truly love, truly loves you back, then the two of you have something very special.  That is an amazing and rare thing anymore.  Take that into consideration before you do something that would hurt that person, or before you start to think there is something better out there than the love that is right in front of you.  Beware... true love will set your heart free, but love that isn't ture is nothing more than a chain that binds.

Work

My great-grandfather used to say that work is a four letter word, so he called it employment.  The truth of the matter is that we all have to do it to live, no matter what you call it.  Well, most of us anyway.  There are, of course, exceptions for people that are born into money, but that's a different subject altogether.  Work is just that, it's work.  It's not time to screw off, hang out, or just wander around.  Anyone can do that in their spare time.  If you actually show up at work, it's usually a good idea to put out at least a minimal effort to accomplish whatever it is that you are getting paid to do.  What a productive world it would be if everyone could just stop complaining, shut up, and do their jobs.  I realize, of course, that sometimes there are situations that are so bad that someone needs to complain about them in order to change things for the better good of everyone involved.  Do keep in mind though, in those cases, that actions speak louder than words, at times.  Those situations are not what I am talking about.  I'm talking about those people, that even in the best of conditions, still find it necessary to do any and everything but what they are supposed to be doing.  Just do your job.  How many hours are you really there for anyway?  If it's that bad, I'm sure there is a better job somewhere else.      I would also like to mention the people that don't want to work. Back off my tax dollars!  Most of us pay taxes every year to support these people.  That's sick!  I understand needing help raising your children, or needing medical care.  That's all good.  Everyone deserves help when they need it.  But, if you are one of those people that has nothing better to do that live in a project, pop out babies every two years to stay on welfare, and has no intention of ever working, as long as the system will support you, then I'm talking about you!  Some of these people that have 5 or 6+ kids make more money on welfare, between cash and food stamps, than the rest of us do working our butts off all week long.  I don't think that's fair.  I say, help the people that need it, will appreciate it, and will use it to better themselves.  Public Assistance is an aid, not a career!

Beliefs

In the great words of the Beatles... 'Let It Be.'

I have my own set of things that I believe in, as does everyone else in this world.  That's what makes us all unique.  It would be a pretty boring place if all of us had exactly the same thoughts, although life would be a little less confusing.  Just because you believe something doesn't give you the right to push that on me or on anyone else.  Slavery was outlawed ages ago; still there are people out there who are looking for mental slave.  This is life, it's not a game of follow the leader.  Our parents used to say, 'If all your friends jump off a cliff, are you going to do it too?'  Hell, No!  Yet there are people that do.  Your thoughts are yours, as are your beliefs and your set of morals.  In my opinion, if you aren't going to hurt  yourself or anyone else, then there's nothing wrong with it.  I'm not talking about cannibalism or anything.  Yes Jeffrey, eating people is definitely Wrong!  No one should have the right to enforce rules or stipulations upon another person which make them conform to someone else's beliefs.  Does anyone remember that separation of church and state thing anymore?  Isn't that why most of our ancestors came to this country to begin with, to believe what they wanted to?  Wow, where did all that end up?  I guess somewhere along the line some of us forgot what America is all about.  This is the land of the free and the home of the brave!  Free to live, free to speak, free to think, and brave enough to stand up and protect those rights!  Don't ever let anyone convince you otherwise.  There are too many psychic vampires out there, most of whom hold political office, that will try to make you think what they want you to.  Wake up people!!  This is your life.  You're not here for too terribly long.  Try to make the best of it, be happy, be in control, and think for yourself!!
